Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the SKN Jobs mobile application or website (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.
SKN Jobs (“we,” “our,” or “us”) reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
Description of Service
SKN Jobs is a marketplace platform that connects job seekers, service providers, employers, and clients in St. Kitts and Nevis. The Service allows users to:
- Post and browse job opportunities
- Create and browse service listings
- Communicate with other users through our messaging system
- Create profiles showcasing skills and experience
- Apply for jobs and respond to service requests
User Accounts and Registration
Account Creation
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account by:
- Providing accurate, current, and complete information
- Verifying your phone number through OTP (One-Time Password) sent via SMS
- Maintaining and updating your account information as needed
- Maintaining the security of your account credentials
Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- All activities that occur under your account
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Ensuring your account information remains accurate and current
Account Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 18 years of age
- You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
- All information you provide is truthful and accurate
- You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations
User Conduct and Responsibilities
Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
- Infringe upon the rights of others, including intellectual property rights
- Transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
- Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access the Service without permission
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service or any other systems or networks
- Collect or store personal data about other users without their consent
- Use the Service for any commercial purpose not expressly permitted by us
Marketplace Rules
When posting jobs or services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Use appropriate categories and tags
- Set fair and reasonable pricing (for services)
- Respond to inquiries and applications in a timely manner
- Complete transactions as agreed upon with other users
- Not post duplicate or spam listings
- Not post fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive listings
Prohibited Content
You may not post content that:
- Contains false, misleading, or deceptive information
- Promotes illegal activities or services
- Contains discriminatory language or practices
- Violates intellectual property rights of others
- Contains personal information of others without consent
- Is spam, unsolicited advertising, or promotional material
- Contains malware, viruses, or other harmful code
User-Generated Content
Content Ownership
You retain ownership of any content you post on the Service. However, by posting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:
- Use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and distribute your content
- Display your content on the Service
- Use your content for promotional and marketing purposes
Content Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the content you post. You represent and warrant that:
- You own or have the necessary rights to post the content
- The content does not violate any third-party rights

- Remove content that violates these Terms or applicable laws
- Suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate these Terms
Marketplace Transactions
No Guarantee of Transactions
SKN Jobs is a platform that facilitates connections between users. We do not:
- Guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of jobs or services posted
- Guarantee the accuracy of user-provided information
- Endorse or recommend any specific users, jobs, or services
- Act as an employer, employee, contractor, or agent for any user
User-to-User Transactions
All transactions and agreements are between users. You are responsible for:
- Verifying the identity and credentials of other users
- Negotiating terms and conditions of transactions
- Completing transactions as agreed
- Resolving disputes directly with other users
Payment and Fees
- Any payments are made directly between users
- We are not responsible for payment processing or disputes
- We may charge platform fees in the future, which will be clearly disclosed
- Refunds and cancellations are subject to agreements between users
Intellectual Property Rights
Our Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by SKN Jobs and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
Your Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of content you post. By posting content, you grant us the license described in the “User-Generated Content” section above.
Trademarks
“SKN Jobs” and related logos are trademarks of SKN Jobs. You may not use our trademarks without our prior written consent.
Dispute Resolution
User Disputes
Disputes between users should be resolved directly between the parties involved. We are not obligated to intervene in user disputes but may do so at our discretion.
Disputes with SKN Jobs
If you have a dispute with us, you agree to:
- First contact us to attempt to resolve the dispute informally
- If informal resolution fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the laws of St. Kitts and Nevis
Limitation of Liability
Service Provided “As Is”
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, including but not limited to:
- Warranties of merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- Accuracy, reliability, or availability of the Service
Limitation of Damages
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SKN Jobs shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or use
- Damages arising from your use or inability to use the Service
- Damages arising from transactions between users
- Any other damages related to the Service
Maximum Liability
Our total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SKN Jobs and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Content you post on the Service
Termination
Termination by You
You may terminate your account at any time by:
- Deleting your account through the app settings
- Contacting us to request account deletion
Termination by Us
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, if:
- You violate these Terms
- You engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
- You use the Service in a manner that could harm us or other users
- Required by law or legal process
- For any other reason at our sole discretion
Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Service will immediately cease
- We may delete your account and content (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive
Modifications to the Service
We reserve the right to:
- Modify or discontinue the Service at any time
- Add or remove features or functionality
- Change pricing (with notice)
- Update these Terms (with notice as described above)
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of St. Kitts and Nevis, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of St. Kitts and Nevis.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SKN Jobs regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
Waiver
No waiver of any term of these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term, and our failure to assert any right or provision under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
